Mike, York Region Amateur Radio Club (near Toronto Canada) is just about to start its first D-Star repeater system. We're exploring VHF amplifier options.

Has your Mirage B2518 G given you great happiness? Any tips or gotchas about using it? Is your repeater very heavily-used? (How many hours per day, for example?)

Any other advice would also be much appreciated. Thanks for your time.

they're now quoting mid-March for beginning of deliveries - the Preliminary User Manual is already posted on the website - it's a very good read while we're waiting for our production units. Looks like just another week or so, if you're in the first batch of orders.

Cheers,
Mike

Has anyone had a delivery yet? --- mine has been on order since they first started to accept orders but when I phoned Elecraft direct from the UK recently they were unable even to indicate a delivery date. Perhaps they have component problems.

I appreciate the good work. Good luck with locating a new site.

There are multiple 6/7 story buildings in the Tinsel Town area of Jax near Southside Boulevard and JTB. Aloft hotel at Gate Parkway West and Southside Boulevard in the Tapestry Park complex is probably 10 stories tall.
